ABOUT THE ALEXANDRA INN

A Familyโ€™s Vision Comes to Life

In 2021, Traverse City locals and lifetime hoteliers sought out to develop the Alexandra Inn vision and expand the family hospitality business to the third generation. With over 50 years of combined development and management experience, the Wuerfel Family wanted to use their background to create a bespoke property that evoked emotion, offered high-touch personalized service, provided distinctive amenities, and offered guests a true sense of what makes Traverse City so special.

That vision broke ground in fall 2022 and Alexandra Inn opened its doors to the first guests on June 30, 2023.
